WOrkOut Sessions

Each CrossFit class is ONE HOUR long. A typical class includes a warm-up, a strength or skill portion, and a WOD (Workout Of the Day). Every single day will be different, but most classes will follow this basicoutline. One of the coolest things about CrossFit is not knowing what to expect until you get to the box… the WOD will be on the whiteboard when you arrive, and we will all complete whatever the assignment is for that day! We will each do it at our own individual level, but doing it together is what makes it so fun!!

Classes
Yoga
Is taught by Jen Plum-Forte, an instructor through the Himalayan Institute (registered with the Yoga Alliance), and a CrossFit athlete since 2013.
“It is a Hatha based yoga class for all levels. Sometimes we flow. Sometimes we're gentle and yin. Sometimes we power. But we always relax the mind and stretch the body.“
*Yoga is included in a regular monthly membership!
Core/Kettlebell class
Is coached by Dana Rosenberger. Dana is an L-1 Certified Crossfit coach who has been doing CrossFit since 2013.
Core class
Is a 30 minute workout that targets your abdominal and back muscles to build a strong midsection. Strength, power, and stability originate at the core! A strong midsection is essential in order to perform other movements safely and with proper form.
Kettlebell
Is a 30 minute class for everybody! During kettlebell we will work on cardio as well as strength. From strengthening the key muscles of the lower body (Glutes hamstrings and quads) to challenging the muscles of the core and upper body (back shoulders or arms triceps and biceps), kettlebells are a highly effective training tool for improving total body strength and cardiovascular endurance.
